Schola Cantorum is Latin for School of Singers. Β
(Scholae is plural!)

π΅ Singing in a choir is a whole-person, social experience.Β One's entire body, mind, and soul must work in unison with others to do it well!Β It is a reflection of the unity Our Lord desires for the whole body of Christ!
π΅ In the Heart of Mary Scholae, we work to teach vocal skills, music literacy, teamwork, and beautiful sacred music to our students.
π΅ Our young people are the future cantors, musicians, choir directors, congregation members and leaders of our Catholic Church.
π΅ We hope to empower them through sacred music, with an understanding that God is calling them to play their part in the body of Christ as they sing His praise and glory in all they do or say... or sing!
Body, mind, spirit, voice, it takes the whole person to sing and rejoice!Β
